"Fauve" nominated for an Academy Award for best narrative short in 2018. Tyler and Benjamin are two young boys who are playing a game of lighthearted power. Their fun and games turn tragic when they find themselves in a situation for which they can not escape. Set in a vast mine area and void of anyone except the sound of their own voices. This short film packs an emotional colossal punch. It's a raw and dreadful scenario of two boys horsing around.. Its a slow-burn within an unsettling and toxic atmosphere making this a frightful and intriguing film by Jeremy Comte. My heart literally broke.
