Inspired by a true story.

The Russian government mandated a Ballet dance troop from Moscow to perform in Pripyat, Ukraine's exclusion zone to quell the fears of the local townspeople.  A tragic love story reveals a controversial performance of a prima ballerina and a musician in the immediate aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.

WHAT'S IN THE NAME ?

 

VERO in Latin is Veritas which means 'truth' and '8' is the symbol of eternity.  Vero 8 = truth eternal
