VERO 8 Pictures Films Gain International Festival Recognition

VERO 8 Pictures continues to expand its international presence as two of its recent films, While They Smiled and Grace in the Ruins, move through the global film festival circuit.
Both projects are currently being presented to international audiences and have already begun receiving awards and festival recognition, marking another step forward for VERO 8 Pictures as the company continues developing distinctive cinematic work for audiences around the world.
"While They Smiled", a restrained documentary meditation on ordinary life continuing in the shadow of atrocity, explores the unsettling contrast between leisure, normalcy, and the horrors unfolding beyond the frame.
"Grace in the Ruins" continues its own festival journey, bringing VERO 8 Pictures’ character-driven and visually cinematic storytelling to international programming and competition.
Founded by filmmaker Alicia Hayes, VERO 8 Pictures creates narrative and documentary work rooted in truth, humanity, faith, justice, culture, and the deeper forces that shape the human experience.
